I’ve spent the last decade building mobile products and the systems behind them. I also make independent software, games and the occasional experiment that gets a little out of hand.

SYNQIN

END-TO-END ENCRYPTED FILE & TEXT SHARING

Synqin makes private file and text sharing feel ordinary. Choose what to send, share it with a person or another device, and keep the contents unreadable to the service itself.

Share in seconds
Send files or text through a private link or QR code. Encryption happens before anything leaves the device.
Secure by design
Approve new devices, recover access and choose where a share should open.
Use any platform
The same product moves with you across Android, iOS, desktop and web.

SUPPREAD

MULTIPLATFORM READING & VOCABULARY APP

Suppread is a reading app for language learners. Stories match your CEFR level, and help with unfamiliar language appears inside the page instead of interrupting it.

Read without detours
Tap a word for its meaning in the current sentence, translate the full sentence when needed, then carry on reading.
Keep the context
Save new vocabulary together with the sentence it came from, so it still makes sense when you return to it.
Build a reading habit
Choose stories at your level, keep a reading streak and grow a vocabulary collection of your own.

BEHIND THE LIBRARY AI supports the content pipeline, but rule-based checks, editorial review and human approval decide what reaches the reader.

FLIGHT LOGWork so farSTORY MODE

A short log of how I got here.

The short version of how I got here.

The levels that brought me here.

  1. 2023 to present ACTIVE MISSIONCURRENTIN PROGRESS

Independent Software Engineer on Synqin & Suppread

Synqin and Suppread are where I get to follow a product beyond the part I already know. I make the product decisions, build the clients and backend services, run the infrastructure and deal with whatever the next release exposes.

Synqin pulled me deep into encryption and distributed services. Suppread took me into language learning, editorial tooling and a content pipeline where AI is useful only when it is kept on a short leash.

  2. 2020 to 2026

Senior Android Engineer at Teknasyon · Istanbul

I spent six years at Teknasyon and worked on more than seven consumer apps, from AI style transfer and location services to astrology and vertical micro-drama. Some started from an empty repository; others already had millions of installs and up to 50K daily active users.

Android was at the centre of the work: architecture, Compose, performance and production stability. One investigation cut startup time roughly in half; another brought runaway recompositions from thousands down to tens. For two years, I also stepped into ML R&D to work on model fine-tuning, quantization, on-device inference and cloud inference.

  3. 2017 to 2020

Mobile Software Engineer at Techlife Software Solutions · Istanbul

Techlife was my first full-time software job and a useful kind of deep end. I was the only Android developer, worked directly with clients and took about five apps from requirements to release.

I also built and released native Swift versions of three products, then used Unity, C# and OpenCV for an optical exam reader. That project was an early lesson in following the problem instead of defending a job title.

  4. 2019

Android Development Instructor at Turkcell Geleceği Yazanlar

Alongside that work, I spent more than 100 hours in a classroom teaching Android. Explaining architecture and clean code in person was a very effective way to discover which parts I understood and which parts I only thought I did.

PLAYER PORTRAIT · SLOT 01

Keep making things. Imagine first, then find out what the idea demands once it meets reality. A game, a tool, a product, a strange little experiment: the form matters less than the act of turning something that existed only in my head into something another person can see, touch or use.

Do not become too comfortable with what I already know. Follow the problem. Learn the part that is missing. Care about the code, but also about the shape of the thing around it: how it looks, how it feels, what people notice, what they misunderstand, and why. The interesting work rarely respects the boundaries between disciplines anyway.

Keep room for curiosity that has nothing to do with shipping software. Music, robotics, history, or whatever happens to pull me in next. Not everything has to become useful. Some things are worth learning simply because they make the world a little less mysterious. Build what is worth building, share what is worth sharing, and stay curious enough to change my mind.
